Little Lion Man Mumford and Sons

whatsinyerhead:

Mumford and Sons: Little Lion Man

Weep for yourself, my man,
You’ll never be what is in your heart
Weep Little Lion Man,
You’re not as brave as you were at the start
Rate yourself and rake yourself,
Take all the courage you have left
Wasted on fixing all the problems
That you made in your own head

But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn’t I, my dear?
Didn’t I, my…

Tremble for yourself, my man,
You know that you have seen this all before
Tremble Little Lion Man,
You’ll never settle any of your scores
Your grace is wasted in your face,
Your boldness stands alone among the wreck
Now learn from your mother or else spend your days Biting your own neck

But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn’t I, my dear? (x2)

Didn’t I, my dear?

But it was not your fault but mine
And it was your heart on the line
I really fucked it up this time
Didn’t I, my dear? (x2)

Didn’t I, my dear?

Loved this song so much, I instantly had to learn it on the guitar. Odd tuning and a capo later, I can now play this awesome song.

Story Time. Gather Round, Children

My answers in bold…

10speed:

I was thinking today of all the great shows I’ve been to in the past and how when it comes to typical worktime cooler-talk, I’m much more comfortable discussing that one great local band I saw three times or the stadium show that blew my mind.

So, for a little sea change, let’s talk live shows. I’ve put together a little list to fill out, because who doesnt love lists? I love lists and you love lists… I see enough of them posted every day, so what’s one more list to add to the pile? Except, this one is actually about something interesting, not who you kissed last or the last person to text you (because frankly, I dont give a shit). So, ahem….

1.) What was the first band you ever saw live?

blink-182, Lit, Pennywise, Black Eyed Peas (pre-Fergie), Eminem (who was booed off the stage) and others at Warped Tour ‘98

2.) What was the first big show/stadium/festival you went to and who was playing?

See previous

3.) What was your favorite all-time live show, based on how amazing the band was?

Them Crooked Vultures. I went fully expecting to be blown away by Dave Grohl on drums (and I was), but John Paul Jones is a goddamn wizard at bass guitar

4.) What was the most memorable show you’ve ever seen, based on strange events/drunk people/fighting/moshing/et cetera?

Foo Fighters at The Forum when Stewart Copeland came out and played drums for a couple Police covers

5.) What’s the furthest you’ve traveled to see a group play live?

Arizona for Edgefest

6.) What group have you seen that absolutely sucked live? (come on, we all know it happens)

Armor for Sleep. It was the first time I had ever heard them. The singer sounded like his balls were being vice gripped. It took me years to give them another chance

*6a.) Has a band ever been so bad live that you walked out before they finished?

Serj Tankian was opening for Foo Fighters and I definitely made way more beer runs than needed

7.) What bands have you seen live before you even knew who they were, and subsequently became a fan of?

Bullets and Octane, Controlling the Famous, Counterfit, Hot Like (A) Robot, too many…

8.) Got any great band merchandise you purchased at a show?

A Minus the Bear shot glass that someone broke by being a little too zealous with the garbage disposal

9.) Any shows where you got to hang out with the band/crew?

As I Lay Dying

10.) What groups have you yet to see live, but are dying to?

Nine Inch Nails, Tool

I’ve never done one of these before, so feel free to reblog with an answer or send one here and I’ll post it.

The Ballad Of Mona Lisa Panic! at the Disco

mattinreallife:

Looks like old Panic At The Disco has returned

Welcome back boys!

crystalcashdollawho:

Full Version: “The Ballad of Mona Lisa” Panic! At the Disco

Hopefully the rest of the album is just as good. I wonder if any of the songs are from the scrapped album that they wrote before “Pretty. Odd.”

I feel like I never meet completely new people anymore...
  • Me: Hi, I'm Justin.
  • New Person: Oh I know, I've seen you drunk and half naked on facebook. How's work going? I saw that you were bored the other day. Still single? Oh wait, I know that too, what a bummer.
