Today In #DCWTF: 3D Covers!
DC Comics has had a lot of facepalm-worthy moments lately, like all the creators leaving, firing Gail Simone and then rehiring her back, “WTF” gatefold covers (that they quickly backtracked on), releasing an epilogue before the actual conclusion to a crossover event, and the upcoming Villains Month where they’re skipping all the regular monthly books for ones focused on villains, to name just a few.
So I’ve decided to start documenting it all, starting with today’s rumor from Bleeding Cool that we will see a round of 3D covers. Bleeding Cool has a pretty good track record when it comes to rumors so I don’t doubt that this will happen. At least this won’t actually affect content like the gatefold covers and villains month. But really, DC? Why not focus a bit more on the characters and stories and less on marketing gimmicks.
