Just received this after hours of not getting email…
Ridiculous Email of the Day
So when I was researching new cars and talking to dealers, I received the following email from one of them:
… and all of those images were animated GIFs. Awesome. I immediately scratched that dealer off places where I would be car shopping since I was in the market for a new car and not a 1997 model, and obviously the sender was stuck there. I imagine that their core new business strategy revolves around sending emails like these to senior citizens who will mindlessly forward it to all of their offspring with a subject like: “FWD: FWD: FWD: FWD: FWD: RE: RE: FWD: FWD: CUTE TURTLE ANIMATION!!!!11!!!1!”
In hindsight, I should have just forwarded it to David Thorne.
PROTIP: I will never respond to an email that looks like this. Thanks for attempting a professional correspondence that looks like it came from my grandmother.
Sometimes I write more than 140 characters; those things go here, along with anything else I find interesting/amusing.
