Opening Day! …oh wait.

MLB is writing the book on how not to open a season this year. It’s like they are trying to just piss away all the momentum that built during the 6 month off season. Technically Opening Day was last week when the Mariners and A’s played a couple games in Japan. But they were a full week before anyone else played, and on at 2am so few American fans actually stayed up to watch. Then there’s the first day of games here in the States which is today, April 4th! …oh, just one game? and there are still Spring Training games going on? Good one, MLB. Personally, I’m not even sure I want to burn my TV out with the monstrosity that is the Miami Marlins’ team colors and stadium to watch MLB’s first game.

My Opening Day is Friday, April 6th. That’s when the Angels’ first game will be, along with most of the other teams. And that will be the first win for Pujols and company on their way to the World Series. Deal with it.
